Pta's mission to makes a difference
Miller Place PTA was founded in 2024 by a small group of parents passionate about supporting our children, your children, and ALL children. MP PTA is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization.
Our goal is simple: To ensure students here in Miller Place experience those special memories, treasured friendships & nostalgic moments akin to our own childhoods.
Our Guiding Principles:
Every decision is made with these things in mind
It's all about the kids.
Childhood should be filled with moments worth remembering.
Events should be accessible, affordable & enjoyable for as many families as possible.
Families who invest their time, membership dues, volunteer hours & support should see & feel the impact throughout the year.
WHAT DOES PTA DO?
Miller Place PTA serves students in elementary and middle school from PreK through 8th Grade. What kind of programming does PTA provide in Miller Place?
Community Events such as glow dance, culture night, harvest fest, 2nd grade moving-up dance and more
Educational Enhancements such as assemblies and programming to support reading achievement
Celebrating the Arts such as summer art contest & PTA's National Reflections program
Support for our Teachers & Staff such as appreciation treats, awards, grants & funding opportunities
Support for our Students & Families such as awards, volunteer opportunities for high schoolers and more
